Priyanka Chopra is an Indian actress, singer, and beauty pageant winner. She began her acting career in 2002 in a Tamil language movie called Thamizhan, but it was in the many dozens of Indian movies that followed where Priyanka attained her initial stardom. After establishing her acting career in South Asia, Chopra was cast in her breakthrough Hollywood role as FBI recruit Alex Parrish in the American TV series. Quantico. Priyanka is also an accomplished singer, philanthropist, and the winner of Miss World beauty pageant in 2000.
Priyanka’s upbringing was one that was varied, since her family moved a lot all over India. The daughter of Captain Dr. Ashok and Madhu Chopra, Priyanka’s first education was at La Martiniere Girls College followed by a rather brief time spent at Maria Goretti. This gave her an opportunity to study in the US, and after a while she finished tenth grade in Boston, Massachusetts. Afterward graduation Priyanka was deciding to either pursue criminal psychology and/or software engineering but put an academic career on hold when she won the Miss World pageant in 2000.

Being of Indian origin, Priyanka Chopra was brought up in the Hindu religion. As of today she is still a practicing Hindu. Her devotion to her religious background is unwavering, even with all the time she spends acting and singing.
From a political stand point, Priyanka isn’t really involved in American politics. She does promote equality for women, but focuses her efforts in India. Additionally, she has also rallied behind the cessation of infanticide, especially with females.
In her spare time, Priyanka listens and dances to Indian music. She also loves to indulges herself in poetry and short stories, while also writing some as well. Chopra also spends time as a volunteer worker for social-welfare programs.
According to many interviews Priyanka said that she had never dated all of her life. She may have just been trying to be private about her relationships (1).
In the spring of 2018 rumors surfaced that singer Nick Jonas and Priyanka were dating. Their relationship was confirmed when the couple attended public events together (2).

Chopra shot a song for the movie The Race Against Time back in 2005. However, during the shoot, she got a mild electrocution after she’d stepped on a live wire. She ended up being hospitalized for a day.
