I think this is so amazing because when I started playing it was just like the best I got addicted by like the first level and I just kept on playing and playing and now the bosses get harder and I love how you could try the ships without playing a real game with him and it’s really fun I just wish one thing about it is when on the spin wheel you get one of the ships I was so excited I’m like yeah got a free ship but it’s only to use on one level that’s what got me a little bit mad and some of them I wish when you tap on them they would like to show your tutorial of what they did but this game is so fun it’s kind of just like Gallagher but with bosses big bosses and you go for a certain amount of levels I stepped there’s one part in the game you need to get to like level 10 or something and it’s in forever it’s endless game it’s so fun I just am so addicted to this game I hope you have fun to also when I play it one more thing that I could fix is that every time you try to defeat the boss with a hearty easy a medium I feel like you should get a diamond or Crispell it like almost like every time like I play five times on the easy and I only got one Crystal so I tried the medium and I only got one person and then I moved onto the other what the next boss andAnd I didn’t get a crystal yet and I probably play like 20 times so it gets me really mad but I hope you enjoy it and thank you for reading to the end of time for my miss spelled stuff
I like this game well enough, and haven’t experienced most of the bugs that are reported on here (although I’ve never tried to actually purchase anything with real money). I would have given it four stars, but had to give it two now that this last update completely broke the game for me.
The four star review would have said that this game is a lot of fun and doesn’t have a lot of needless stuff to make it confusing like some of the other similar games I’ve tried. However, there are a LOT of ads. And a lot of them are pop ups for the game wanting you to buy/unlock stuff for $100!! The unlocks in this game are way, WAY overpriced. I can honestly say I probably would have bought several things on here if they weren’t overpriced so incredibly badly. I’m talking like the cheapest pop up I’ve seen was about $30 to unlock a ship. It’s ridiculous.
This rating, unfortunately, dropped down to two stars today. The update that released a few hours ago made it to where I can’t see the sides of the game on my iPhone X. I think the developer tried to make it work on the X, but instead of making the app longer for the new screen, he just zoomed in and now you can’t see everything. I tried to contact the dev and nothing. And the link provided here in the App Store goes to a web page that isn’t even running. There’s literally no way to contact him, so I hope he sees this review.
For me the game really takes me back to what I use to play in the arcades when I was a kid. Totally aging myself here, but that is one of the things that makes this game so much fun to play! It has the same seemingly simple gameplay dynamics, combined with modern gaming features like the ability to have your progress saved, permanently upgradable ships, better graphics, multiplayer/singleplayer modes and a great deal more! Also if you are an Achievement ‘Hound’ like I am, then there are plenty of those to be had in this game too!
Now, no game in today’s day and age is perfect, and like all “Free to Play” games out there, the game offers certain packs and other things to buy to make game play “easier,” but as far as I’ve seen, there hasn’t been a reason in which real money was needed to advance in the game. They are also not obnoxious about trying to get you to buy something either, which I personally respect. I do hope they don’t change this aspect of their game, like so many other games have been doing lately. Frankly, not forcing me to have to buy, in order to play a game I enjoy makes be more inclined to buy when I have the money. So Alien Shooter has a double thumbs up 👍🏼 👍🏼 and 5 ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ 💫 from me!
