Hi all,

I wanted to take a moment to address some of the recent questions and comments that have been popping up here about 'the future of Rock Band.'

First, I want to celebrate the fact that Rock Band 4 can now boast the longest continuous run of DLC releases in franchise history! We're coming up on the four year anniversary of RB4 and aren't planning to slow down any time soon. At the end of last year we publicly committed to weekly DLC releases through 2019 and we're optimistic that we'll be able to make a similar commitment at the end of this year.

On the development side, we have artists working on a bunch of new Rivals Season rewards so that you can continue to chase those sweet, sweet Bloodstone rewards deep into 2020. This will be delivered via an update later this year. We are also hoping to deliver some bug fixes via this update. I can't commit to any specifics today but please keep submitting bug reports so that we have as much info as possible.

The final thing I want to talk about is new features and hardware. Conversations are happening on both fronts but I want to be clear: there is no concrete update or roadmap to share today and both would be a ways off. That said, as a studio and as individuals we think about Rock Band a lot. Features we love, features we'd change, features we'd add - it's a constant topic of conversation. Like many of you, we've been paying close attention to what news is released about next gen consoles and the reports of backwards compatibility have been super exciting. The idea that Rock Band 4 will continue to function on gen 9 hardware opens up new possibilities for continued support and potential updates. Hopefully we'll have more to say on this soon (but no promises).

Password plus game online. Feel free to hit us with any questions and Owl and I will answer what we can. Thanks, as always, for playing and supporting Rock Band!

-Dan
